Welcome to Dance the Dream! We look forward to you and your dancer participating in
our very first Spring Dance Spectacular parade at Walt Disney World® Resort on May 3-4,
2025.
This is a Dance the Dream parade event open to dancers ages 10+.
FAQ
The Parade
The Dance the Dream parade is high energy and will takes approximately 18-20 minutes to complete Disney’s parade route. To maintain Disney’s show quality dancers should have the same energy at the beginning and end.
Costume
Costumes, Tights, and Pair of Performance Poms are included in the Dancer Package.
Hair
Female Dancers
Studios select one hairstyle suitable for the entire group. We recommend hair is up and out of the face as well as off the neck in a high ponytail, bun, french twist, etc. Hair accessories are recommended.
Male Dancers

Shoes
Female dancers must purchase the all white Keds canvas sneaker (tie version - not slip-on). Male dancers may purchase any all black sneaker with no visible logo
Dance the Dream “PERFORMANCE READY”
• Dancers should wear stage makeup (ie mascara, blush, pink or red lipstick)
• Neutral nail polish colors preferred
• No jewelry with the exception of matching team jewelry (ie stud earrings or rhinestone
chokers)
• Any visible tattoos should be appropriate for family audience
Are there any minimum age requirements for dancers?
Parade - All Dancers must be 10+ by May 3, 2025 for the performance at the Magic Kingdom® Park. This is a Walt Disney World® Resort policy, and unfortunately we are not able to make exceptions.
Workshop - All Dancers must be 7 by May 3, 2025 to participate. There is an option to attend this event for children ages 7-9, but does not include performing the parade route.
