Young dancers learn the necessary steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Engaging music is used to get these little dancers inspired to dance. The use of props such as “dancing bears,” hula hoops, maracas, scarves, wands and tiaras enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!

Twinkle Star Dance is an age-specific 45-minute class containing ballet, tap, and jazz/creative movement. The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the three styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers also learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. For example
Twinkle Star Dance is an age-specific 45-minute class containing ballet, tap, and jazz/creative movement. The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the three styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers also learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. For example, all dancers will learn what a plié is and how to demonstrate one. The use of fun, age-appropriate music engages the young dancers’ minds and bodies. The use of props such as maracas for the “freeze dance” makes the end of class the most fun! Twinkle Cases and Props are included in registration.

ShowStars class is an age specific, 45-60 minute class. This class will spend portions of the time working on two or more different styles, giving the children a fantastic base and exposure to different types of dance. We have found that this “combination” technique helps to keep the kids excited, interested, and focused for the entire 45-60 minute period.

The Ensemble class provides the opportunity for dancers to enhance their skills through frequent performance of their art in front of large and varied audiences. Ensemble also serves as a guide for older dancers on their path to a professional career or college. We create fearless dancers with strong bodies, curious minds, and passionate hearts.
